Painting by John Ridgewell called “Gate” 1976.

This picture gave me the idea for writing the tune “Porten”, which is norwegian for gate. What I like about John Ridgewell´s way of making this painting, is the mix of detail, dream, unexpected/unsolved experience that I get from watching it.
